Bio

Abdullah Al Farooq is an Assistant Professor of CyberSecurity in the School of Computing and Data Science at Wentworth Institute of Technology, Boston, MA. He has received his PhD in Computing and Informatics and MS in Computational Modeling and Simulation from the University of North Carolina, Charlotte and Old Dominion University, Virginia, respectively. Prior to that, he earned his BS in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. His research interest lies in securing critical cyber-physical systems.

He has applied methodologies from various computer science and applied mathematics subdomains such as formal method, non-linear optimization, data provenance, graph theory, parallel computing, compiler, and artificial intelligence to secure the Internet of Things/ Smart Building/ Smart Grid
